Comparison · Vettika vs Eightfold

An Eightfold AI Interviewer alternative you can actually start using today

Let's say the honest thing first: Eightfold shipped a real two-way AI interviewer. GA since October 7, 2025, voice-led structured interviews in 22+ languages, with a responsible-AI stance we respect — no facial or tone analysis, content-only evaluation, human review of results. Among the big incumbent platforms, it is the closest thing to a shipped product in this category. If you're a 10,000-employee enterprise already running Eightfold's talent platform, you probably don't need this page.

The gap is everyone else. Eightfold prices per employee per month across your total workforce (analyst estimates put it around $7–10 PEPM — third-party figures from Pin and ITQlick; Eightfold publishes no pricing). That model has no sensible answer for a recruitment agency: your "workforce" is 20 recruiters, but you screen thousands of candidates for other companies' workforces. There is no self-serve signup, no trial, and reported sales cycles run 60–90 days with annual contracts only.

Vettika starts from the other end: a self-serve, two-way voice AI interviewer that screens candidates against your rubric and returns a transcript plus a scored report — built so an agency or a single in-house recruiter can create a campaign today.

Candidate-experience evidenceDesign commitments now; measured NPS + completion published with methodology once instrumentedClaims 93% candidate NPS and 78% of applicants choosing the AI agent — vendor-reported, unaudited

On candidate-experience claims: the evidence standard matters

Eightfold's 93% candidate NPS may well be real. But it is self-reported and unaudited, and the industry context makes independent evidence non-negotiable: in Greenhouse's 2026 Candidate AI Interview Report (April 2026; 2,950 job seekers, five countries), 38% of US candidates had already withdrawn from a hiring process because it included an AI interview, and 70% said they weren't clearly told upfront that AI would evaluate them. Candidates are not giving this category the benefit of the doubt — which means vendor-reported numbers shouldn't get it either.

Our position: we don't publish candidate-experience numbers we can't show our work on. Today that means design commitments — candidates always know they're talking to an AI, every interview produces a transcript the recruiter sees in full, and only the content of answers is evaluated. When our own NPS and completion instrumentation goes live, we'll publish measured numbers with the methodology attached, and you can hold us to them.

When Eightfold is the right choice

If you're a large enterprise consolidating talent acquisition and management on one AI platform — especially with Workday, SAP, or Oracle integrations in play (Eightfold's AI Interviewer is even embedded in Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting as of May 2026), or with FedRAMP requirements — Eightfold is a credible, shipped option and the incumbent we'd benchmark against. The question to ask their team: what does the contract come to for your actual headcount, and how long until your first interview runs? Then ask us the same two questions.
