How it works · 4 steps from JD to shortlist
How AI interviewing works — and why it only takes 12 minutes.
Vettika sends a voice AI to run your first-round interviews. Every candidate gets the same structured 12-minute conversation. You get a scored report, full transcript, and a ranked shortlist — ready before your next coffee meeting.
12 minutes · 3 free · no scheduling
The problem
The 30-minute phone screen is broken.
Most first-round interviews are 30-minute phone screens where recruiters ask the same five questions, take inconsistent notes, and reconvene the next day to compare impressions. Vettika replaces that loop — a voice AI runs a calibrated, structured interview with each candidate, scored in real time. Your dashboard shows a ranked shortlist the moment the last answer is in. No scheduling. No note-taking. No bias drift across a 200-candidate funnel.

The process
Four steps from job description to shortlist.
The entire process — from campaign creation to ranked results — runs without a single calendar invite.
Build your interview in under 10 minutes
Write or paste your job description. The AI generates a question set tailored to the role. Configure your rubric — criteria, weights, and pass threshold. Pick an AI voice. Done.
Share one link with candidates
Every campaign gets a unique apply link. Candidates click, enter their name, pass a 30-second mic check, and go live. No app to download, no account to create, no scheduling back-and-forth.
AI conducts the interview
A 12-minute voice conversation. Same questions, same order, same follow-up prompts when an answer is thin. Whether you have 10 candidates or 200, every screen is the same quality.
Review the scored report
Full word-for-word transcript, rubric scores per criterion (1–10), overall recommendation (Advance / Hold / Reject), and qualitative flags on communication. Ready before your next coffee meeting.

FAQ
Common questions about AI interviewing.
Does AI interviewing work for technical roles?+
Yes. The rubric is yours to define. For engineering roles you can weight criteria like technical depth, systems thinking, and problem decomposition. Vettika scores against whatever criteria matter to your team — there are no preset categories you have to work around.
Will candidates be put off by talking to an AI?+
In practice, candidates prefer a 12-minute async voice screen to a 30-minute scheduled phone call. There is no back-and-forth to coordinate, no rescheduling, and the interview is available any time. Completion rates on async voice are consistently higher than on video or scheduled phone screens.
What happens to recordings and transcripts?+
Transcripts are encrypted at rest. Audio is destroyed on hangup — we do not store voice recordings beyond the session. Full data-handling detail is in our bias audit at /legal/aedt-bias-audit.
How is this different from async video interviewing tools?+
Async video tools (Hireflix, Spark Hire, etc.) capture the candidate's video answer and leave scoring entirely to the recruiter. Vettika scores automatically against your rubric in real time. You get a ranked shortlist the moment interviews complete, not a queue of videos to watch.
Can I connect to Greenhouse, Lever, or my ATS?+
Yes. There are five native integrations live today: Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Airtable, and Google Sheets. Scores, transcripts, and recommendations push automatically after each interview completes.
Is this legal for New York City roles under Local Law 144?+
Vettika is designed for LL144/AEDT compliance. We run a quarterly bias audit and publish the results. See /legal/aedt-bias-audit for the current audit report and the technical design decisions behind it.
